The cabin's rustic charm embraces you as you step onto the cozy wooden floors. You spend your days hiking through winding trails, exploring untouched wilderness and taking in the serene beauty of nature & the 20,000-acre Rich Mountain Preserve. Evenings showcase the bright stars! Cabin is open studio, one large room.

Perfect for solo travelers, couples or small families - North of Atlanta, and just over an hour from Woodstock, GA and only minutes from the Tennessee and North Carolina state lines - well worth the straight scenic drive up 575 to Hwy 76, the Georgia Mountain Parkway - cabin is a couple miles east of Hwy. 

The cabin at Little Rock Creek sits at 2200 ft elevation and is the perfect getaway for any age group, yet still extremely convenient to both Blue Ridge and Ellijay less than 10 miles away.  Shopping, dining, history, horseback, lake and river activities, hiking and scenic falls are all within easy reach.  Don’t forget to be on the lookout for bears and BIGFOOT!

Evenings are spent reflecting by the cozy fireplace, wrapped in a warm blanket with a cup of hot cocoa in hand or s’mores at the fire pit. The tranquil solitude allows for deep quiet introspection, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As the sun sets behind the cabin, the sky transforms into a canvas of vibrant hues, creating a magical and memorable spectacle.

After a few moments in the warm, oversized stone shower - sleep comes easy with the gentle sounds of nature and whispering creek waters as your lullaby. The clear mountain skies reveal a tapestry of stars at night, reminding you of the vastness of the universe. In this mountain top cabin, you find solace, adventure, and a renewed connection with the natural world.  And It starts all over with sunrise.

Open Studio sleeps 4 with King and Queen Sofa pull out. No steps or stairs on property at all - just small short ramp to deck from flat, circular driveway.

The local legend in town is that a cherry tree fell across the creek, and Native Americans used it to cross the water, eventually leading to the name of Cherry Log.  The church was established in 1854 and the post office in 1855.
